Can't Play That Card Anymore

The "I just had a baby card." As my little blessing is approaching 3 months old next week (can you believe it) I finally had to swallow the fact that it's a little late to keep playing the I just had a baby card when it comes to fitness and getting my body back. I will have to put that card back in the deck until next time..........(Hopefully)

Hubs and I both started to get back on the horse...slightly. I am amazed at how hard even a push up is for me to do now. I used to be able to knock them out in counts of 20 intervals. Oh well, that was then and this is now. Honestly, I don't care if I ever get my tummy as flat as it was, or all the definition back in my arms, or even if I lose my linea negra line on my belly, I'm just so happy being a mom. Cliche I know, but true.

So now that I'm hitting the 3 month mark and I'm done letting myself give excuses on working out. I wonder........... How much longer can I still wear my maternity pants without being frowned upon? I WARN YOU: IF THAT TIME HAS PASSED MANY WEEKS AGO DO NOT ANSWER! lol :-)
Here's my happy little guy!

His eyes are stunning! I have yet to get pregnant, but I fully plan on playing that card for at least the first year. Plus, if no one else can see or tell they are maternity pants, then I say no harm done=)

Cute pic! I'd say you've still got at least another 3 months of the excuse! :)

And I thought I was the only one still wearing my maternity pants! Glad I'm not :) They're just SO much more comfortable than regular jeans. I'm jealous that you're able to start exerscising again. I'm still in recovery mode but I hear you on who cares if my body isn't perfect. You had your miracle baby and that means more than anything really! You are beautiful no matter what! And Your baby is beautiful too! I love that huge gummy smile!

He is just so darn cute! Little Mr. Personality for sure! As for your body - it will all work out. Your life is forever changed - for the better. Who cares how many push ups you can or can't do? You are beautiful no matter what. Your son is beautiful. You are all healthy. Life is good. Enjoy! x
